A Dog Eat Dog World

No sooner had I delivered this cake than I got a phone call that the family dog ate one of the butterflies off the cake. Luckily there was a butterfly on the back that was moved to the front and the cake survived the attack!!

Hello Kitty!!

Being the mother of two boys, I love to make "girly cakes". Hello Kitty is very girly!!

Princess Lauren

Happy Birthday to a very cute little princess!! The pillowas are the two cakes, and the crown is made of fondant.

Happy Birthday "not so younger" brother

Well, my not much younger brother just turned 30, and we are very happy to have him home. Not so long ago he was serving in Iraq. Now he has a great wife and 1 year old daughter. I made him a cake with camo fondant and a 30 exploding out of the cake. Thanks for serving, and thanks for making it home in one piece Pete!!!

Harry Potter

Now that this cake is finished, I can safely say I was terrified!!! I opened my giant mouth and suggested a Hogwarts Castle Cake for a birthday party. WOW, it turned out to be a lot of work and one of my favorites!
Well, my friends are quickly learning that if I am coming to a party with a food item it is going to be a cake!! Luckily I have awesome friends that allow me to "practice" on them. The only way to get better at something is to practice right?? In fact I read somewhere that in order to MASTER a skill you must spend 10,000 hours on that activity!!! So this cake I made for a friend's party will add about 5 hours to that total!!
